In a climate of uncertainty and anxiety, Untold Stories invites you to listen to what others remain silent about. This edition takes us to the heart of an immigrant community in Pennsylvania, where—amid the cold and the threat of immigration raids—a voice of hope emerged: MILPA, the Movement of Immigrant Leaders in Pennsylvania. In a church in Delaware County, vulnerable families found more than hot coffee—they found power through knowledge.

Through workshops led by advocates like Desi Burnette, they learned that with or without papers, we all have rights. They learned to say, “I want to speak to a lawyer,” to recognize a valid warrant, and to stand firm under pressure.

Because when the system fails, the community organizes. Because knowing your rights is not just an act of defense—it’s an act of dignity.

This is the story of those who choose not to hide, but to learn. Not to give up, but to organize. This is your untold story.
